Network Support Fellow Vacancy!

Cochrane has created eight new Networks of Cochrane Review Groups (CRGs) responsible for the efficient and timely production of high-quality systematic reviews that address the research questions that are most important to decision makers. To support this work Cochrane is delighted to announce that we are looking for Network Support Fellows funded by the NIHR, hosted by Cochrane Review Groups in NHS and academic institutions within the UK, and covering the review production areas of:

Acute and Emergency Care;
Brain, Nerves and Mind;
Cancer;
Children and Families;
Circulation and Breathing;
Long-term Conditions and Ageing (two distinct Networks); and
Public Health and Health Systems.

Each Network requires a Network Support Fellow to support the efficient and timely production of high-quality systematic reviews that address the research questions most important to patients and decision makers. The key role of the Network Support Fellow is to support the Network in prioritisation, gap analysis, quality and editorial processes, with a particular focus on ensuring that the Network is positioned to provide maximum support for the NHS. The Network Support Fellow will work closely with the Network Senior Editor, Associate Editor and Cochrane Review Groups within their network, and will have an individual work plan that includes specific objectives that are customised around the Cancer Network’s development priorities. These roles would suit highly motivated individuals with experience of conducting high-quality systematic reviews and familiarity with Cochrane Systematic Review processes and methods. The successful candidates will have an understanding of the research context and a focus on quality. They will enjoy communicating with a wide range of people and contributing to the global effort to produce reliable, accessible healthcare evidence.
